Infusion services

Columbus Community Hospital offers infusion services for both children and adults, including chemotherapy, intravenous (IV) infusions and injections. You may undergo your initial treatment or therapy at another hospital or doctor's clinic, but you can complete your remaining treatments in CCH's infusion services department.

CCH infusion services

CCH's Infusion Center provides services for both children and adults from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The Infusion Center was created for the convenience of patients and families, allowing them to stay close to home for IV and chemotherapy medications, dressing changes, or related services.

The Infusion Center serves patients with the following diagnoses:

  • Blood disease
  • Cancer
  • Chronic kidney disease
  • Infections requiring IV antibiotics or dressing changes
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Osteoporosis/rheumatoid arthritis
  • Gastrointestinal disorders

The Infusion Center RNs are all chemotherapy/biotherapy-certified and are experienced in intravenous and related treatments, including:

  • Bisphosphonate therapy
  • Central line and PICC line catheter care
  • Chemotherapy
  • Growth factor administration
  • Hydration and electrolyte management
  • IV antibiotic administration
  • IV immune globulin therapy
  • Monoclonal antibodies therapy
  • Transfusion of blood and blood products
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy

Infusion orders, referral instructions and order sets

  1. Print and complete the CCH referral form.
  2. Click on the desired infusion order below to download and print the PDF.
  3. Complete all sections and sign both the infusion order and referral form with ink.
  4. Fax the signed order set, referral form and documents listed on the referral form to 402-562-4639.
