Biography

Dr. Tyler McVay has been treating patients at Columbus General Surgery since 2023. He provides compassionate and skillful care for patients who are affected by a wide variety of gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatic disease. He is dedicated to providing individualized, expert care for each and every patient.

Dr. McVay completed his undergraduate education at Loyola University Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, and received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota. He completed an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He is certified by the American College of Gastroenterology, and is also certified in both basic and advanced cardiac life support.
