Biography

Dr. Novotny has been treating patients at Columbus Otolaryngology Clinic since 1987, when she founded the clinic. She believes in performing a comprehensive examination of each patient so she can obtain a clear picture of the patient’s overall health.

Dr. Novotny completed her undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She then completed a five-year residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is board certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery; a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; and a member of the American Medical Association, Nebraska Medical Association, Platte Valley Medical Society and Nebraska Academy of Otolaryngology.
