Biography

Jamie received her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, in 2014. There, she competed in track and field, earning seven All-American honors. She then continued her education and received a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2016.

Jamie joined Rehab Services at the Wellness Center in 2017, where she practices in a variety of settings, including outpatient physical therapy, aquatics, home health and inpatient at the hospital. She also serves as a team member for our comprehensive Parkinson’s Wellness program at the Wellness Center, and she is certified in PWR!Moves® for Parkinson’s and as a Rock Steady Boxing coach. Jamie is an instructor of ai chi at the Columbus Family YMCA.

Jamie is eager to continue her education, focusing on aquatics, orthopedics and neurologic conditions. She is also excited to utilize her exercise science background and her passion for health and wellness, as she encourages and coaches a healthy and active lifestyle for patients with whom she works.

Jamie lives in Columbus with her husband Jared, two children, Owen and Emilie, and dog Maggie. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing cards and participating in a variety of outdoor activities.
