Biography

Brynley Johnston graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) with a bachelor’s degree in communication science and disorders in 2021. She continued her education at UNL, earning a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology in 2023. Brynley holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and she is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Nebraska. She joined Columbus Community Hospital in September 2023 and works at Wiggles & Giggles Therapy for Kids™. She also assists with on-call rehabilitative services on weekends, where she evaluates and treats patients of all ages during their stay at the hospital.

She brings her passion for working with children to Wiggles & Giggles, providing therapy to youngsters with a variety of diagnoses. Her favorite part of her job includes helping families reach their goals through collaboration with them, the physical and occupational therapists at the clinic, and other professionals in the community to address the complexities of each child’s needs.

Brynley and her husband, Brandon, live in Columbus and have one child. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors, making memories with their baby and puppy, Riggley, and traveling.
