Biography
Originally from the Lindsay area, Bailey attended College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, where she received both a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences degree in 2020 and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2021.
She began her occupational therapy (OT) career as an inpatient therapist at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, helping patients of many types. She was able to split her time between the intensive, surgical and burn units, helping many patients return to their home settings.
Bailey joined the Rehab Services team at Columbus Community Hospital in January 2025. She works with both patients in the hospital and those who are receiving treatment at the Wellness Center. She is hoping to expand her knowledge and become certified in other areas to better serve the community’s occupational therapy needs.
She and her husband Kyle Wemhoff like to spend time together with their Golden Retriever Luna, watching movies and hanging out on the farm. They also enjoy activities with their family and friends.
