Biography
Amy Nelson, PTA, has been a licensed physical therapist assistant since 2009. She received her Associate of Science degree in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program from Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska.
A Columbus native, Amy has been employed with Columbus Community Hospital at Premier Physical Therapy since 2003, where she began as a rehab tech before earning her degree.
She specializes in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine rehabilitation and acute care. She has attended the McKenzie Method courses, specializing in the lumbar and cervical spine. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association.
Amy’s goal is to help people reach their daily and future goals and have a better overall quality of life. She and her husband, Kory, live in Columbus and have three children.
