(COLUMBUS, Neb.) – In today’s society of high technology, we often hear about robotic surgery – but
what exactly is it?
Columbus Community Hospital is offering a free Lunch & Learn featuring Dr. Jacob Oran, general
surgeon with Columbus General Surgery, as he explains exactly what is robotic surgery. He will discuss
how a surgeon uses this advanced technology tool to give patients the highest quality healthcare
possible. Dr. Oran will also discuss the procedure details of this type of surgery, the benefits and
recovery and outlook for a robotic surgery.
The event will be at noon on Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Pawnee and Pioneer rooms at Columbus
Community Hospital. Following the presentation, Dr. Oran will answer questions.
