(COLUMBUS, Neb.) – The Columbus Community Hospital Foundation has released its 2024-25
annual report, which highlights how the foundation supports the hospital.
Each year, the foundation raises money to fund important projects, purchase medical equipment and
create programs that benefit area patients. Additionally, it offers
financial support through scholarships for current and future medical professionals.
In the 2024-25 fiscal year, the foundation pledged support for the Mead Family Cancer Center project.
The money contributed to the new facility will allow the hospital to bring all cancer services under one
roof, providing cutting-edge treatment and technologies to patients in the community.
In 2024, the foundation hosted its 21st annual Holing Out Fore Health golf outing, which raised funds to
acquire a state-of-the-art 3D visualization system for the hospital’s outpatient surgery center. It also
participated in an all-hospital staff fundraiser in December. This fun event raised more than $7,000, and
it was an opportunity for the foundation board to interact and give back to the hospital staff.
Other topics covered include the following:
- Fund owner gifts
- Scholarship awards
- Donor recognition
- Memorials
- Testimonial of volunteerism and community support
