Columbus Community Hospital is proud to host the Harvest for Health community event on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 7 a.m.-noon in the gymnasium at the Columbus Fieldhouse in Columbus, NE. This event provides community members an opportunity to learn more about health care products, services and new offerings in the community from more than 40 area businesses.

It is free and open to the public!

Featured Speakers:

9 a.m. – "Heart disease in aging adults" - Dr. Sabu George, cardiologist Columbus Cardiology Clinic, Columbus Community Hospital

10 a.m. – "Exercise for aging adults" - Chris Holt, MS, CSCS, director of strength and performance, Columbus Sports Performance Center

11 a.m. - "Mental health in aging adults: How and when to seek treatment" - Dr. Tara Sjuts, psychologist Columbus Psychiatry Clinic

Columbus Community Hospital will offer:

• FREE blood pressure screenings.
• FREE paraffin wax hand dips.
• FREE vision screening.
• FREE hearing screening.
• FREE atrial fibrillation (heart) screening.
• FREE peripheral artery disease screening.
