Post-Hire Testing/Physical Capacity Profile®

Columbus Community Hospital’s Occupational Health Services offers the Physical Capacity Profile®, a comprehensive testing procedure developed by an orthopedic physician.

The system physically matches employees to jobs and is designed to accommodate individuals with physical disabilities.

PCP testing documents musculoskeletal imbalances and helps occupational and human resources professionals place employees in the appropriate jobs to minimize the potential of injury. By matching employees with job requirements, employers can help reduce the risk of injury and the number of workers’ compensation claims.
