SHAPEDOWN®

Weight management is a difficult topic for children and teens, and it’s one that requires just the right touch to really make a difference. If you have a young person in your household who could benefit from learning about healthy living, SHAPEDOWN® may be just the right fit.

SHAPEDOWN® is the nation's leading weight management program for children and teens, and we offer it right here at Columbus Community Hospital. This 10-week program meets for two hours each week and provides education on:

  • Healthy eating.
  • Exercise.
  • Behavior modification.
  • Self-esteem.
  • Stress management.
  • Communication.

Enrollment is divided into two age groups: children ages 6-12 and adolescents ages 12-18. Parents must also attend.
