Empanadas don't have to be savory—dessert empanadas are a lot of fun to make, and everyone loves them. These cinnamon-apple empanadas are a tasty treat for the whole family!

INGREDIENTS
1 T. Butter 4 Apples, cored and chopped small pieces
2 T. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
20-30 wonton wrappers
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- In a glass bowl, add butter and apples.
- Place in microwave 1-2 minutes to melt butter.
- After melted, stir in cinnamon, vanilla and brown sugar and set aside.
- Lay won ton wrapper non-floured side up on work surface with the point towards you. Spoon 1 T. of apple on the wrapper. Brush edges with water. Carefully fold edges together, forming triangle—seal edges.
- Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Lay empanadas on the pan. Spray tops of empanadas with cooking spray. Place in oven and cook 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm, may sprinkle with more cinnamon.
- Drizzle with warm caramel sauce if desired.
