This instant pot spaghetti recipe is a quick and easy dish filled with whole grains and fiber. Add a side salad or some protein to round out your meal.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic, crushed
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
8 ounces tomato sauce
1/2 cup lentils, rinsed
4 ounces whole grain spaghetti
2 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Use the sauté function on the instant pot and heat the oil.
- Add the garlic, onion and Italian seasoning, and sauté for a couple minutes.
- Add the water and thoroughly scrape off the bottom of the pot for any food stuck to it.
- Add the tomato sauce, lentils, salt and pasta. Lightly spread the pasta evenly around the pot and submerge the pasta. Do not stir.
- Cover and cook under pressure for 10 minutes.
- Quick release and stir.
