Diabetes and health education department

Columbus Community Hospital’s diabetes and health education department provides a variety of programs to help educate and support community members with diabetes, or those who are at risk of developing diabetes. Our services include group classes and individual appointments for inpatient and outpatient diabetes education.

We also offer education in the areas of continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pump training, weight management, cholesterol-cardiac diets, self-injection of specific medications, smoking cessation and other health education or training, as needed.
