Columbus Community Hospital’s new cardiac catheterization lab puts time on a patient’s side. The lab is fully equipped with advanced technology to perform minimally invasive tests and procedures that will diagnose and treat heart disease on-site. In the past, Columbus Community Hospital needed to transport critically ill patients to large facilities that had cardiac cath labs. Now, staff can treat those patients in-house, decreasing the time from diagnosis to restored blood flow. All of this leads to healthier heart muscles and healthier patients. It’s life-saving care, right here at home.
