At Columbus Community Hospital, patient care is our primary concern. In order to enhance the quality of care, we have established specific visiting hours and regulations for each unit.
The main hospital entrance is open to the public from 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Outside of this time period, we ask you to sign in at the emergency department admissions desk. The admissions clerk will provide a name badge you must wear while in the facility.
Acute care visiting hours
We want to allow patients their needed rest, so our recommended visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Intensive care visiting hours
Visitors to the intensive care unit are limited to immediate family members for 10 minutes each hour.
Maternal child health visiting hours
Visiting hours in maternal child health are from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Please consult the staff regarding sibling visitation. Except for those siblings accompanied by an adult, no other visitors under the age of 14 will be allowed in the unit.
Skilled nursing unit visiting hours
Visiting hours in the skilled nursing unit are unrestricted, but children visiting the unit must be accompanied by an adult.
