Bike Share program

Columbus in Action (CIA) is proud to continue its Bike Share program. Columbus residents and visitors can explore the city on two wheels by renting a bicycle for a small fee.

Bike Share bikes are available at the following locations:

• Columbus Community Hospital.
• Columbus Wellness Center.
• Ramada - River's Edge Convention Center.

To ride, users download a free app using their smartphones. The app, called Movatic, is in the App Store and on Google Play.

The bicycles feature a unisex, step-through frame for a wide range of riders. They also include a twist seven-speed gear, which is simple to operate. The seats are adjustable so riders can raise or lower them. They also have a rear basket riders can use for bags, books or groceries.

Rental rates are:

• $2 bicycle rental + 
• $1.50 per each 30 minutes of incremental use 

The total cost per use is:

• 30 minutes = $3.50
• 60 minutes = $5
• 90 minutes = $6.50
• 2 hours = $8

After each use, riders should return each bicycle to the kiosk location where it was originally rented. Each bicycle is chipped, and if a bicycle is not successfully returned to its kiosk, additional fees will be assessed accordingly.
