W.O.C. Health Center
People with wound, ostomy or continence issues often experience a marked reduction in quality of life. For someone needing help with chronic wounds, management of their ostomy or regaining bladder control, the Wound, Ostomy and Continence (W.O.C.) Health Center offers a comprehensive approach to treatment.
Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners, certified wound, ostomy, continence nurses (CWOCN's) and physical therapists will design a treatment plan to meet your individual needs.
Our W.O.C. Health Center benefits those with:
- Non-healing wounds that linger for 4-6 weeks without improvement, including diabetic ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers (bed sores), or surgical wounds that fail to heal
- Problems managing an ostomy, whether it is inadequate wear time of the ostomy appliance (wafer/bag) or skin complications around or near the stoma
- Bladder control problems
The professionals at our W.O.C. Health Center will keep your primary physician informed and involved in the treatment and recovery process.
The W.O.C. Health Center is located in Suite 210 of the Healthpark Medical Office Building adjacent to the Hospital. For more information about the W.O.C. Health Center call 402-562-4620 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
