Bump and Beyond Prepared Childbirth Class

The birth of your baby is one of the most exciting events in your life. It’s a moment you will cherish and remember always. Your journey as a new parent will be filled with excitement, joy, fear of the unknown and… a ton of questions! That’s why Columbus Community Hospital offers its Bump and Beyond Prepared Childbirth Class for all expecting parents.
This class teaches expectant parents about the process of labor and delivery, comfort techniques, medical procedures, cesarean births, as well information on newborn and postpartum care. The class is offered in three-week evening or weekend express options. The more knowledge you have about the birthing process, the more likely you will approach your personal journey with confidence and a positive perspective. Parenting is a journey - and CCH’s Bump and Beyond Prepared Childbirth class will help you prepare for this adventure whether it’s your first baby or you just want a refresher.
Hear what some participants have to say about their Bump and Beyond experience:
“I think all first-time parents should do the classes. I didn’t think I needed them, but I learned a lot of stuff that I didn’t think I would need to know. Now, I feel more prepared for the birth,” James Ivy, participant in CCH’s Bump and Beyond Prepared Childbirth classes.
