Ai Chi Water Exercise Group

YMCA Warm Water Pool
The group will meet for seven sessions, which will be held every Wednesday from August 1 to September 12. The sessions will last approximately one hour, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., in the YMCA warm water pool at the Columbus Wellness Center.
Ai Chi is an aquatic based program that focuses on deep breathing, relaxation and slow, broad movements. The water will provide a relaxing, supportive environment to perform specific exercises. The class is designed to improve balance, increase total body strength and decrease pain. Ai Chi is beneficial for people of all ages and abilities, but participants must be able to enter and exit the water independently.
