Spring diabetes event coming to the Columbus Wellness Center

Columbus Community Hospital is hosting a free spring diabetes event on Thursday, April 18, from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Columbus Wellness Center. The event is open to the public and aims to help attendees manage and understand diabetes. It will feature presentations by experts, including a talk on integrating exercise into daily life by Jay Pelan, a physical therapist, and a discussion on pre- and post-workout snacks by registered dietitian Marina Channer. Attendees can also enjoy a light meal, browse diabetes-related booths, and tour the Columbus Fieldhouse. Registration is required by April 15.
