Karla Rosendahl wins Columbus Community Hospital’s Service Over Self award

Karla Rosendahl with Columbus Community Hospital's Healthy Families department has been honored with the prestigious Service Over Self award. This award acknowledges hospital employees who positively impact their communities through volunteer work. In addition to her professional role, Rosendahl volunteers with the Teammates Mentoring Program, DHHS, her church, and serves on several local boards, including the Columbus Family YMCA and St. John’s Lutheran Church. Nominated by her manager, Jill Janssen, Rosendahl’s longstanding commitment to helping others was celebrated during an award ceremony on April 3.

Janssen praised Rosendahl’s tireless efforts, highlighting her dedication to vulnerable families and her extensive volunteer work, which she considers a calling. The Service Over Self award is part of CCH’s Pathway to Excellence program, encouraging employees to engage with their communities and contribute to positive change.
