This program addresses Nebraska's projected nursing shortage, which could reach 5,435 by 2025, with many counties facing a critical lack of registered nurses. The internship aims to recruit and retain nursing students through financial support, including up to 75% of tuition and fees, as well as loan forgiveness for those who commit to working at CCH after graduation.
