Registered Nurse Apprenticeship Program changes name to CCH Student Nurse Internship

Columbus Community Hospital is rebranding its Registered Nurse Apprenticeship Program to the CCH Student Nurse Internship, thanks to new state funding. This program addresses Nebraska's projected nursing shortage, which could reach 5,435 by 2025, with many counties facing a critical lack of registered nurses. The internship aims to recruit and retain nursing students through financial support, including up to 75% of tuition and fees, as well as loan forgiveness for those who commit to working at CCH after graduation.
