Columbus Community Hospital has rebranded its medical alert service to Safe at Home and named Hailey Rathje as the new program coordinator in November 2023. This service offers both in-home and mobile personal emergency response systems, providing users with 24/7 access to help. First launched in 1983, the program has grown from 17 units to a widely available service that helps users maintain independence while feeling secure. Rathje, a Columbus native with a background in social work, is passionate about her role and has already witnessed the program’s impact on the community, especially with long-term subscribers who value the safety and security it offers.
