Pat Green honored with DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses

Pat Green, an RN in the maternal child health unit at Columbus Community Hospital, was honored with the DAISY Award for the third quarter of 2023, recognizing her exceptional clinical skills and compassionate care. A former patient nominated Green, crediting her with saving her life, her baby's life and positively impacting her family. 

Green received the award during a presentation on Sept. 28. The DAISY Award, an international program, celebrates extraordinary nurses like Green, with Columbus Community Hospital recognizing one nurse each quarter. Nominations for the award can be made by patients, visitors, and hospital staff through the hospital's website.
