New year, new baby: CCH's first baby of the year born New Year's Day morning

On the morning of New Year's Day, Mayelin Dominguez Tamayo welcomed her baby boy, Angel Tadeo, as Columbus Community Hospital's first baby of 2024. Born at 8:04 a.m. on Jan. 1, Angel weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 18.75 inches long. Mayelin, a recent resident of Columbus, expressed gratitude for the hospital's professional care and the community’s support. In honor of being the first baby of the year, the hospital gifted her a year’s supply of diapers, a baby monitoring device, and a special "2024 Baby" onesie.
