'Never expected it': Columbus' Marvin Elston shares life story as he approaches 101st birthday Sept. 19

A lot will change over the course of 101 years, new experiences and people, to which Marvin Charles Elston of Columbus can personally attest. As Elston prepares to celebrate his 101st birthday on Sept. 19, he looks back on his life. 

For someone approaching his 101st birthday, Marvin gets around pretty well, partially thanks to his good health over the years, Dorothy Elston said, but Columbus Community Hospital’s hospice nurse Jill Robak and her colleagues have provided a lot of assistance and variety in their lives.
