Dr. Allen advises that, although there is no cure for RSV, parents can manage symptoms at home with methods like nasal suctioning, cool mist vaporizers and ensuring proper hydration, and should seek medical attention if the child exhibits difficulty breathing, signs of dehydration, or prolonged fever.
