Hospitalist group changes name to Columbus Hospital Medicine

In a move to reflect their dedication to the local community, Inpatient Physician Associates Columbus (IPA-C) has rebranded as Columbus Hospital Medicine. This change highlights their commitment to providing high-quality care for hospitalized adult patients at Columbus Community Hospital. The hospitalists, who offer 24/7 care and coordinate with primary care providers and specialists, continue their role under the new name.

Since 2010, the IPA-C team has been a cornerstone of inpatient care at the hospital. Dr. Kurt Kapels, the clinical director of Columbus Hospital Medicine, emphasized the group's pride in being actively involved in the Columbus community and their commitment to improving the local area.
