Columbus hospital plans butterfly release

Join the Columbus Community Hospital volunteers for their 38th annual Extravaganza and 10th annual Butterfly Release on Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to noon on the hospital’s southwest lawn. The event will feature the release of painted lady butterflies, which can be purchased for $10 each online until June 26. Attendees will have the opportunity to release their butterflies during the event and enjoy flower gardens and sugar water provided for the butterflies. Proceeds from the butterfly sales will support the purchase of medical equipment and program advancements at the hospital. The event will also include a raffle for a handmade butterfly quilt, with tickets available for $1 each or six for $5.
