Columbus Community Hospital’s Health Science Pathway program wraps up second year

Columbus Community Hospital has released its second annual report on the Health Science Pathway program, highlighting its success. The program collaborates with local high schools and Central Community College to offer students a comprehensive introduction to medical careers through various classes and real-world experiences.

The curriculum includes introductory courses, a dual-credit CNA class and job shadowing. Participation has grown significantly, with nearly 245 students enrolled and 90 new certified nursing assistants added to the community.
