Columbus Community Hospital voices concerns over Medicare Advantage plans

Columbus Community Hospital recently joined the Nebraska Hospital Association in expressing deep concerns about the negative impact of Medicare Advantage plans on seniors and hospitals across the state.

MA plans, while designed to off er seniors more choices and fl exibility, have often resulted in delayed care, increased costs and reduced access to health care services. For rural hospitals such as CCH, the challenges posed by MA plans are particularly acute, a news release said.
