Columbus Community Hospital recently awarded $7,800 in scholarships to fifteen local students as part of their 2024 scholarship program. The recipients include high school graduates and current students pursuing careers in various fields, with several focusing on healthcare.
The scholarships are supported by generous local families and are aimed at fostering education and community involvement. The hospital also recognized VolunTEEN program participants with scholarships to reward their dedicated volunteer service. Cori Fullner, executive director of the CCH Foundation, and Melinda Allen, employment and education coordinator, emphasized the importance of these scholarships in supporting local students and strengthening the community's future workforce.
