Columbus Community Hospital adds NGENUITY technology to surgery center

Columbus Community Hospital has introduced the advanced NGENUITY system for cataract surgeries, offering surgeons a more detailed and expansive view of the eye. This new technology, which utilizes a camera setup rather than a traditional microscope lens, enhances depth of focus fivefold and improves surgical safety and precision. 

The adoption of this system, which is only available at a few facilities nationwide and just the second in Nebraska, reflects the hospital's commitment to providing top-tier care locally and attracting skilled professionals. The upgrade was made possible through the efforts of the CCH Foundation, highlighting their role in ensuring the hospital remains well-equipped with cutting-edge technology.
