Your heart deserves high-quality care, and Columbus Cardiology Clinic is here for you.
Cardiologists treat a wide range of conditions related to the heart. At Columbus Cardiology Clinic, our providers have specialized training in these areas and are ready to give you the highest level of care when you need it.
“It is important that the patient, cardiologist, nurse and the rest of our team develop a trusting relationship. That relationship can benefit the patient’s treatment through effective communication and the establishment of clear and shared goals,” said Ann Babel, manager of the cardiology clinic.
From heart palpitations to chest pains and everything in between, our expert medical providers are here for you and your cardiac needs. At our clinic, we treat adult heart issues and complications. We also conduct echocardiograms, stress testing, cardiac rehabilitation, and invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular tests.
“Because we have a catheterization lab in Columbus, patients from Columbus and the surround areas who have a heart attack can get treated here, instead of needing to be transferred to an alternative care center,” said Dr. Sabu George, cardiologist at Columbus Cardiology Clinic. “We can perform life-saving procedures in our catheterization lab. Since the opening of the cath lab in May 2022, many patients from the community have received treatment here.”
Our team offers one-on-one, personalized care that distinguishes us from other cardiology providers.
“Appointments are never rushed, which means our cardiologists and nurses are able to spend an ample amount of time ensuring the patient understands everything they’re hearing,” said Sarah Huettner, an advanced practice registered nurse at the clinic. “Our practice is also unique because our cardiologists are here for you 24/7 if you should need emergency care.”
At Columbus Cardiology Clinic, patients undergo a thorough examination and answer relevant questions that might reveal a condition that may have previously gone unnoticed. The clinic focuses on treating the whole person, and providers take the time to get to know you and the life you lead so they can make an accurate diagnosis.
“Our staffs put the upmost importance on good communication and teamwork to ensure patients receive the best care,” said Huettner. “We commonly huddle to talk about issues and process improvement, and always support each other in every way possible. It truly is a team effort that includes input and effort from our clerical staff, nurses and cardiologists.”
Since opening, the clinic has adapted its practices to better serve the community.
“We started out only being open Tuesday through Thursday afternoons,” said Wendy Bachman, the clinic’s billing and coding specialist. “However, because of our growth and the need of the community, we have expanded our clinic hours. This has greatly decreased the wait times for our appointments. It is exciting to see the growth we have had in just over a year, and I cannot wait to see where the future takes the cardiology clinic and catheterization lab.”
