Columbus Area United Way is closer to its campaign goal and the agency said it is all because of the local Pacesetter companies and their commitment to the local community.
At the general campaign kickoff on Sept. 10, it was revealed that the Pacesetter companies that help “set the pace” for the community campaign set a high bar and raised 63% of the total campaign goal. These companies are BD Medical, Behlen Manufacturing Co., Camaco, Cargill, Columbus Bank and Trust, Columbus Community Hospital, Columbus Public Schools, First National Bank of Omaha, Flexcon, Nebraska Public Power District, Pillen Family Farms/DNA Genetics, Pinnacle Bank, Valmont and Vishay.
