CCH welcomes new psychiatry resident

Columbus Community Hospital has welcomed Dr. Bryndis Grissom as the newest medical resident at Columbus Psychiatry Clinic. Dr. Grissom, who is in her final year of residency, will be providing care for adult patients dealing with various mental health conditions such as PTSD, substance abuse and anxiety. Under the supervision of Dr. Venkata Kolli, Grissom will be a valuable addition to the clinic, which has a high demand for behavioral health services. 

Dr. Grissom, who trained at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, represents the fourth resident from UNMC to complete their training at the clinic. This partnership is part of a broader initiative to enhance rural psychiatric care in Nebraska, addressing the significant need for mental health services in underserved areas.
