Caleb Nicolay honored with DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses

Caleb Nicolay, RN, BSN, was honored with Columbus Community Hospital’s DAISY Award for the fourth quarter of 2023. Nicolay, the service line coordinator for the hospital’s post-acute care unit (PACU), was recognized for his exceptional clinical skills and compassionate care. A former patient’s parent nominated Nicolay, praising his dedication during her daughter's hospital stay, which helped lead to a critical diagnosis.

The DAISY Award is an international recognition program celebrating nurses who provide extraordinary care. CCH invites patients, visitors, and staff to nominate deserving nurses through the hospital’s website, with nominations rolling over for future awards if submitted after the current quarter’s selection.
