Butterflies for hearts: CCH fundraiser for cardiology department

Columbus Community Hospital will host its annual butterfly release fundraiser on June 29, 2024, to support the purchase of a QuantaFlo peripheral arterial disease (PAD) screening device for its cardiology department. This event, part of the hospital’s long-running extravaganza, has raised over $1.8 million since 1972 through sales, raffles, and donations. The butterfly release, a family-friendly event held for the last 10 years, allows participants to sponsor butterflies for $10 each, with proceeds going toward the new device, which will enhance PAD diagnosis and treatment at the hospital.
