Ag Safety event
Columbus Community Hospital's Occupational Health Services is proud to host the Ag Safety event on Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 7:30 a.m.-noon at the Columbus Innovation Center in Columbus, NE. This event invites local agriculture works from Columbus and surrounding communities to join and participate in various ag-related presentations and demonstrations. It is free and open to the public!

Schedule of events:
- 7:30 a.m.: Occupational Health Services screenings (available throughout the day)

- 8 a.m.: Welcome/Managing food safety operations by Scott Buresh, Buresh Meats
- (coffee and rolls sponsored by Union Bank and Trust)
- 9 a.m.: Pesticide recertification by Bruno Patias Lena, Nebraska Extension
- 11 a.m.: Conversations on access to lethal means by Linda Emanuel, BSN, RN, AgriSafe Network
Event Highlights
Truck Driver Physicals: Dr. Vilma Rodriguez-Cline will be available to perform truck driver physicals during the event for $50 per exam. To schedule an appointment, call 402-562-4480.
Health Screenings: Many other health screenings will be available for free or at a reduced cost.
