Join us on Sept. 28 at Mike’s Auto Sales and Towing. Parents and children of all ages are invited to stop by from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. to learn more about fire, seat belt and power line safety, among other topics. 

Stop by for free car seat checks from a certified car seat technician. Our technicians will conduct checks on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments are not necessary.

Join local public safety experts including those from the Columbus Police Department, Platte County Sherriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol and Columbus Fire and Rescue, as they conduct live demonstrations. Columbus Community Hospital will also have medical professionals on hand to teach children fun health and safety tips. 

Attendees can also take part in exciting drawings, including the chance to win free bike safety equipment. 

Kids Safety Day is free and open to the public.
