Zip up your onesies, polish your binkies and warm up for the sixth annual Baby Olympics, sponsored by Columbus Community Hospital’s Healthy Families department and Wiggles & Giggles Therapy for Kids™. 

The event is scheduled for Friday, July 11, at the Platte County Ag Park Club Room Stage in the Exhibit Building on the second floor, beginning at 6 p.m. Registration for all events will begin at 5:30 p.m.

It’s free and open to little ones up to 3-years-old. Baby athletes and their “coaches” are invited to participate in various contests to help showcase their talents and abilities. 

• Baby Crawling Contest: Crawling babies only. (Babies who can walk may not participate.)
• Walking Contest: Beginners–15 months
• Running Contest: 16–24 months
• Obstacle Course: 2-year-olds
• Obstacle Course: 3-year-olds

Area residents are welcome to join in the fun and watch some tiny tots as they “go for the gold!”  

Two adult volunteers are required for each participant. Prizes will be available for all participants.
