Columbus Surgery Center

Columbus Surgery Center has been serving the Columbus, Nebraska, community and surrounding areas since 2007. Columbus Community Hospital officially took ownership of the facility in June 2021, as Dr. Peter Diedrichsen sought to transition ownership.

Columbus Community Hospital is proud to continue providing ophthalmology, endoscopy and pain services to the Columbus community and surrounding areas — including Humphrey, Rising City and Genoa — on an ongoing basis. Through Columbus Surgery Center, Columbus Community Hospital is able to broaden its scope and provide continued patient care.

Columbus Surgery Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and is located at 3772 43rd Ave. Suite B.

Columbus Surgery Center currently has six board-certified physicians. Our physicians take great pride in each individual’s experience and want to ensure their patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their journey.
