That’s a very good question. A survey of hospitals across the eastern region of Nebraska indicates that few organizations are currently offering live CME, and busy health care providers are indicating a preference for CME activities that can be accessed online at their convenience.
As a value-added service for our busy Columbus health care providers, we are setting up this page as a one-stop answer to your questions. Here, you can find quarterly information regarding upcoming online, live-streamed and pre-recorded CME programs, as well as event and contact information for area live CME offerings.
At Children's Omaha, you can access both videotaped CME offerings for online credit and live CME opportunities.
At UNMC, you can set up your personal account to access and track online, live- streamed and pre-recorded CME that is conveniently accessed from any device with an internet connection. This new user link will walk you through setting up your account.
Additionally, UNMC offers monthly events on a wide variety of topics that are available on a live-streaming basis. They are usually offered as a pre-recorded event one week following the event.
