Columbus Community Hospital offers several job shadowing opportunities. These experiences are designed to provide insight into various healthcare roles, but please note that they do not involve hands-on patient care.
To participate, please follow these steps:
1. Review the “Shadowing in Healthcare” and “Dress Code Policy” documents:
2. Complete the Job Shadow Application form:
3. Submit your completed application form. If you have any questions, please contact Julio Chavez, HR Assistant, at jcchavez@columbushosp.org.
Once we receive your request, we will begin arranging your job shadowing experience.
Important: During high-demand periods, there may be delays in processing your request due to the volume of applications.
Please note that these opportunities are strictly observational and do not involve direct patient care or hands-on involvement. Hands-on clinical experiences are only available to students enrolled in programs with approved, affiliated educational institutions.
Additionally, as a small rural hospital, we are unable to accommodate international medical students at this time.
