Butterfly Release

The Columbus Community Hospital volunteers invite YOU to share in the celebration of life at the 38th annual Extravaganza and 10th annual Butterfly Release on Saturday, June 29. It will begin at 10 a.m. on Columbus Community Hospital's southwest lawn.

The event is a heartwarming sight for the community to enjoy when hundreds of painted lady butterflies take to the air.

Hospital staff distributes butterflies to their sponsors on the day of the release. When individuals receive their butterflies, they can let them go anytime during the two-hour event. Flower gardens and sugar water will be available on the hospital grounds for the butterflies to receive nourishment.

Volunteer services plan to use proceeds from the butterfly sales to assist in purchasing medical equipment and program advancements for Columbus Community Hospital.
