Hospital Foundation Golf Outing on June 5th to raise funds for 3D Tomosynthesis Mammography Equipment.

The 13th annual Columbus Community Hospital Foundation Golf Outing will be held Friday, June 5th at the Elks Country Club in Columbus with a shotgun start at 12 noon. This two-person scramble includes up to 144 golfers who play to raise money for the Hospital. Proceeds from this year’s event will be used to purchase 3D Tomosynthesis mammography equipment which facilitates earlier diagnoses and better outcomes for breast cancer patients.
Businesses supporting this effort include Title Sponsor TSP- Architecture, Engineering and Planning, and two Executive Sponsors – Heartland Builders and Pinnacle Bank and Trust.
The thirteen Event Sponsors are ARL Credit Services Inc., BD Medical Systems, Columbus Hydraulics, Eakes Office Solutions, First National Bank, Golden Living, Journey Construction, Midwest Medical Transport, Pillen Family Farms, Shelby Lumber Co., Tasty Toppings/ Dorothy Lynch, The Vetter Foundation/ Brookestone Acres, and Walmart.
The six Dinner Sponsors are: Behlen Manufacturing, Control Management, Inpatient Physician Associates, Obrist Plumbing, Tuls Dairies and Union Bank and Trust.
Dr. Ron Ernst, Marty Nore and Robert “Whitey “Walgren are the chairmen of the golf outing. Carol Keller, Foundation Executive Director, and Melinda Jeffcoat, Foundation Development Assistant also serve on the Committee.
