Columbus General Surgery Joins Forces with Columbus Community Hospital
Columbus Community Hospital has a long history of providing exceptional health care to our community.
Columbus General Surgery does too.
On May 1, 2018, these two trusted health care organizations will join forces to provide even better, more coordinated services to area patients.
Dr. Ronald L. Ernst founded Columbus General Surgery in July 1987. Dr. Myron E. Morse joined the practice in 1998 and Dr. Jeremy S. Albin joined the Columbus General Surgery team in 2014.
All three physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and are members of the American College of Surgeons.
Though Columbus General Surgery has clearly grown over the years, the group believes its merger with Columbus Community Hospital will lead to even bigger and better things for the practice.
“We are committed to providing our best possible care to our patients,” Dr. Ernst said. “By joining with Columbus Community Hospital, we will be able to offer that level of care for years to come.”
Columbus Community Hospital President and CEO Michael Hansen agrees, “Our goal with this purchase is to ensure that our community has access to the quality services that this team of physicians have provided for many years, with opportunities to provide a wider array of services in the future.”
Together, Columbus Community Hospital and Columbus General Surgery will continue to provide quality health care, close to home.
