Columbus Community Hospital Introduces New Patient Feedback Program
Columbus Community Hospital (CCH) is happy to announce its new patient experience feedback program: Real-time Feedback by NRC Health.
Starting in September, select patients who visit CCH or an associated clinic will receive an email, text message or phone call within three days of their visit to ask them about their experience.
Both the calls and emails will take patients, on average, less than two minutes to complete and are compatible with mobile and hand-held devices. These calls, emails and texts will allow patients to share their experience at CCH and its facilities – including what worked well and what needs improvement.
They will also help CCH staff ensure their patients are safely transitioning back home after receiving care and address patient’s health care needs in a timely and respectful manner.
This targeted program is meant to remove barriers that keep physicians and staff from improvement.
With Real-time Feedback, CCH hopes to:
- Identify root causes of any negative patient experiences and prioritize efforts to improve them.
- Act upon emerging trends before they escalate into problems.
- Perform real-time service recovery for at-risk patients.
CCH’s partnership with Real-Time Feedback is an example of the hospital’s commitment to providing patients with high-quality care.
